About
Physician. Entrepreneur.
I'm a Los Angeles–based infectious disease physician turned longevity advocate, passionate about helping busy professionals prevent chronic disease through evidence-based strategies.
Background
I studied biochemistry at UC Santa Barbara, then attended the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. I completed my internal medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital (now NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn), spent a year as a hospitalist at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, and finished my infectious disease fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.
That journey — from bench science to the bedside to the boardroom — shaped my belief that the biggest health challenges won't be solved inside the exam room alone. Today I focus on preventive medicine and longevity, combining clinical evidence with an entrepreneurial approach to help people invest in their long-term health.
The Entrepreneurial Journey
Moving from the clinic to the boardroom wasn't a departure from medicine — it was an extension. I saw firsthand how systemic challenges in healthcare couldn't be solved from within the exam room alone.
Today, I'm focused on building ventures that sit at the intersection of medicine, technology, and business — creating value for patients, providers, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
Philosophy
I believe in building with purpose. Every venture, every project, every idea should move the needle on a problem worth solving. The best innovations come from people who deeply understand the problem — and physicians are uniquely positioned to lead in healthcare innovation.
I write about the frameworks, lessons, and ideas that come from building at this intersection. If you're a physician thinking about entrepreneurship, or an entrepreneur thinking about healthcare, I hope my work resonates with you.
